The success of TappedTober Craft Beer & Wine Festival has been humbling. Thank you to our thousands of attendees, hundreds of volunteers, and dedicated, generous sponsors stepped up in a huge way to ensure local access to cancer detection and care.
All proceeds from TappedTober directly support critical access to healthcare services. In 2018 a van was purchased and driver hired to provided transportation for cancer patients who would not be able to get to their cancer treatments. In 2019, 3-D Mammography technology was purchased and deployed in the spa-like NRMC Breast Center. After an unfortunate hiatus due to the pandemic in 2020, TappedTober returned in full force and contributed to the NRMC Foundation’s We Care for Moms & Babies campaign for new birthing center technology, maternal/fetal monitors and furnishings. The 2022 TappedTober focus was to assist the NRMC Foundation in providing state of the art PET Scanner technology for the NRMC Cancer Center.
